I'm Jeroen.
JeroenByDefault is my place on the internet. There is no single topic, just room for whatever I'm exploring, experiencing or might want to read back later.
Technology and AI show up here quite often. Not because newer automatically means better, but because I want to know what things actually do in practice. I like trying things for myself, comparing different options and sometimes digging further than necessary until I understand how something works.
But not everything happens behind a screen. Lynn and I enjoy travelling and walking, and we'd usually choose a quiet trail, a small village or somewhere we happened to stumble across over the attraction where everyone is already queuing. Other things naturally find their way onto the site too, from food and exercise to small projects and thoughts that happened to stick around that day.
Dribbel and Misty appear in the stories from time to time. They are two plush travel companions, each with a personality of their own. Dribbel likes to think he is the main character. Misty tends to take a slightly more level-headed view.
This isn't an expert blog and it isn't a brand. It's a personal logbook that changes along with me.
